Homeschooling and the journey

Starting to homeschool my children was like many in 2020, for me it was like a universal force warning of what the school system was and future more becoming. I knew I was NOT sending my children back to school with mask. It was at my aunt's birthday party when my cousin who was there with her daughter who was about the same age as my daughter. We got to talking and she talked to me about homeschooling in Michigan. She started homeschooling her daughter before 2020 due to bullies and the school doing nothing for her or her daughter from harassment from the other students. I was shocked to learn how free Michigan families were in homeschooling... So, I researched and found that Michigan was an amazing state for Homeschooling, it got me thinking I really couldn't do any worse that the system they were in so that was the START to my homeschool journey and I never looked back.
